The Theft of Joy is the second studio album and fourth release of the Lost Cosmonauts, a Lovian synthpop outfit signed to Warped Records. The Theft of Joy was released in 2013 to moderate to positive reviews. The album was produced by Warped Records and released on CD, vinyl and digital audio. The Theft of Joy features the song Komakino, a Joy Division cover, and two live recordings as bonus material. The album relies heavily on synthesizer sounds, with minimal beats and a missing rhythm section.
