Triss is the oldest of the house-elves who live with the King family on their ranch at Croatoa. She once belonged to Abraham Thorn and lived with him and his second wife and their daughters, Lucilla, Drucilla, and Valeria White. When Thorn divorced White, he took his elves with him, and Triss later lamented the fact that Valeria and her sisters had been "abandoned" with "no one [to] care" for them.
