One of seven diners at the traditional evening meal. Usually they are senior avout attending a Messallan in the Concent of Tredegarh. They discuss the topic of the Messal. Their discussion is often part of the education of the seven servitors (usually junior) avout who may not speak unless called upon by name during the Messal. The Doyns at the Plurality of Worlds Messal at the most recent Convox appear to have been chosen for a diverse, interdisciplinary perspective on all possible topics to be discussed. Some extramuros leaders were invited, as well.
