Meals on Wheels is a food delivery service to the elderly and shut-ins, such as the agoraphobic Harold Smith. The service in Twin Peaks, Washington was first organized in August 1987 by Norma Jennings and Laura Palmer through the Double R Diner. Following Laura's death, her best friend Donna Hayward took over her delivery route.
