An Ex Medal is a powerful Medal used by Kilobots. According to Kam a normal Medal has emotion and power, but an Ex Medal has nothing but power. (However, Blakbeetle still retains the power of a Kilobot and has the emotion of a Medabot.) A red one was used by Kam which functions a self-destruct device for the prototype Kilobot. It has a security function on it which makes it self-destruct in 100 minutes.
