The sludge panther was a dangerous carnivorous predator native to the planet of Talus. It was distantly related to the Corellian sand panther. The sludge panther lived in swamps and dank jungles of Talus. It often rolled around in mud to mask its scent when hunting. A larger subspecies of the common sludge panther was the Greater sludge panther.
