He appears to regenerate all of his tissues very fast. In fact, his tissues don't appear to have much importance for him, as he was reported to have survived headless, armless, with half of his torso and a leg teared apart. He is usually on his hidden palace and almost never is involved in direct conflicts. He likes to tame lions.
