Rand, was a Human male who served as a captain in Galactic Republic's navy during and in the aftermath of the Mandalorian Wars, the subsequent Jedi Civil War. He was present during the Attack on the Endar Spire, during which he sacrificed himself in order to ensure his daughter's and several other soldier's safety, giving them time to get off the ship.
