Sand giants were disciplined, honorable desert dwellers who lived in stable communities which were often isolated. Although their villages tended to be remote, they did trade with other races and were not isolationists. Sand giant society was highly structured, with each clan ruled by a hereditary monarch. Sand giants formerly lived in most deserts in Southern Faerûn but were most commonly found in Raurin.
