Route 316 is the route that connects Blackfist City, Route 317, and the Mysterious Cave together. It consists of pathway of bridges on the eastern side of the map and a cliff overlooking the rest of the map to the northwest. In order to access the cliff, along with the entrance to the Mysterious Cave, the player must acquire Dive along with the Inferno Badge from Caspian City and then use that to access the massive dark patch of water on the western side of the map.
