Amai was a fruit bat worker in Saltwing. After seeing the message made of wine on the ground, he and a group of other workers attempted to kill Salt. Amai succeeded in ending Salt's life, but was killed by Elvere. Later, the fruit bat workers spread the word that Elvere was responsible for Amai's death.
