Sandfury Guardians are hostile level 45 - 46 elite serpents found in Zul'Farrak, just before arriving at Chief Ukorz Sandscalp. Sandfury Guardians were famous for being tamable, as they were incorrectly flagged as wind serpents. Blizzard eventually removed the ability to tame them and removed the ability to feed existing tamed ones, thus making them nothing more than a trophy pet. However, in patch 2.0.1, the ability to tame serpents was added, so Sandfury Guardians are once again tamable.
