A wielded tin opener lets you open a tin (via the eat command, [e]) in one turn, no matter its BUC status. In all other respects, it is useless. Tourists who begin the game with one will enter the Dungeons of Doom wielding it. Needless to say this should be switched for a real weapon before attempting melee combat.
