James Seanor (born 1833, date of death unknown) was a Union Navy sailor in the American Civil War and a recipient of the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions at the Battle of Mobile Bay. Seanor's official Medal of Honor citation reads: Seanor later served on the USS Guerriere (1865), and deserted on Christmas Day 1868 when the ship was visiting Montevideo.
