As part of the 21st Mechanized Battalion, Captain Morris saw action against Russian forces in the Pacific Theater, including the sort-lived invasion of Siberia in the closing stages of the war. Morris's 2nd Field Artillery Company, the "Highwaymen", engaged in constant counter-battery duels with the numerically superior Russian artillery regiments, delivering devastating barrages and then relocating before the enemy could respond. After returning to the States, the company's M320 Spartans were replaced with advanced M325 Achilles self-prepared gun, capable of firing satellite-guided fire missions with pinpoint accuracy.
