During the 1994 tournament staged at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Wand Weighing was held in a fairly small classroom in Hogwarts Castle, a few days into November, and was officiated by British wandmaker, Mr. Ollivander. Before the ceremony started, Harry Potter met Rita Skeeter for the first time and she interviewed him inside a broom cupboard near the classroom where the ceremony was held.
