The father of "Bob" (played by Edward Jewesbury), or rather Kate showed up at her wedding to Blackadder in "Bells". As he had grown too old to support himself and his daughter, he was in favour of the idea of Kate becoming a prostitute. Instead, she decided to go to London, disguise herself as a boy, and seek her fortune.
