He is the older brother of main villain, Zack Andrews. At first, the brothers got along with hiding their powers from the world. Eventually Zack became aware of what happens Mutants but Walter wouldn't believe him and they had a fight ending when Zack, admitting defeat, ran away "never to be seen again" and Walter's powers were suppressed by the government telling him that people were not ready for superior beings like him, so he went to graduate college but never got a job, until now.
