Ileen Maisel was a female human Starfleet officer. She came aboard the USS Stargazer in 2351, where she met Captain Jean-Luc Picard. They remained friends on and off for over twenty years. After leaving the Stargazer, she went on to the USS Pathfinder. By 2369 she was the commanding officer of the USS Marignano. (TNG novel: Intellivore)
