Harm and Admiral Chegwidden try to stop a salvage hunter from recovering a submarine that disappeared just before the attack on Pearl Harbor with the two men soon discovering that the sub may have been involved in a conspiracy while Bud defends an overweight sailor who is a computer genius and who wants to stay in the Navy.
