The 405th Legion, also known as the 405th Clone Legion or the Four-Oh-Fifth, was an elite Clone trooper legion, commissioned by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine in 22 BBY, and would later become a Stormtrooper legion under the Galactic Empire. During the Clone Wars, they were led by former Jedi Padawan Raian Keldabe and fought in battles such as the Battle of Thule, one of the smaller battles on Korriban, the bombardment of Dathomir, the defense of Mandalore, and even the Battle of Coruscant. In 19 BBY, while trying to escape Coruscant and the emperor, Raian was forced to fight his old comrades in the 405th, which resulted in the fall of the legion.
