Joe Lombardi is the current quarterbacks coach for the New Orleans Saints of the NFL, he was promoted from offensive assistant on January 12, 2008. In his first season as quarterbacks coach, starting quarterback Drew Brees passed for 5,069 yards, just shy of the NFL record, but then in the 2011-2012 season Drew Brees broke the record for the most passing yards in a single season, 5476. He was formerly the defensive assistant for the Atlanta Falcons. In 2010 he won the Super Bowl with the Saints against the Colts 31-17.
