Cukurova Makina was founded in 1968 under a licensing agreement with John Deere to manufacture construction equipment in Turkey. Based in Tarsus, Turkey, they manufacture backhoes, forklifts, wheeled loaders and Excavators under the Cukurova brand. Another joint venture was set up with Terex to manufacture Curukova Terex backhoes.
