Frederick "Doc" Doherty (born June 15, 1887, February 12, 1961) was a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger who played 1 game in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens. He was born in Norwood, Ontario. He spent most of the seasons 1908 to 1911 in the Ontario Professional Hockey League where he was a star for the team from Galt. In 1909-10 he scored 25 goals in 20 games for Galt. Doherty played in two Stanley Cup challenges - in 1910 with Galt and in 1912 with the Moncton Victorias.
