Element of Air, also known as "Air" by her friends, was a Than-Thre-Kull mercenary in the employ of Tyr Anasazi. She was part of a team that helped free the regent of the planet Malani's Haven when a planet-wide coup occurred. She and other mercenaries, including Gerenmar, Glasten, Brexos, and Varastaya, were escorting the king and his wife, as well as some aides, through a tunnel when booby traps set centuries before were encountered. Tyr and Gerenmar stayed behind to deal with oncoming soldiers and traps, and Air led everyone else to the escape hatch at the end of the tunnel. However, there were soldiers guarding the end, and she went ahead to deal with them, so that they would have a clear path ahead of them.
