The Golden Army was a million-strong force of mechanical soldiers who apparently lived underground. After the Energized Protodermis Entity was defeated/sucked into a plothole, Blackout swore revenge, and summoned the Golden Army. However, it was then completely ignored, and played no part in anything at all.
