The White Council is an upcoming role playing videogame based on J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. Like a previous RTS, The Battle for Middle-earth II, The White Council is based both on the books and Peter Jackson's films . The game has been postponed indefinitely by its distributor, EA Games. As of May 2011, no further news has been released regarding the game.
