Katagon equipment (Tier 8) is the fourth strongest melee equipment found while Dungeoneering. Katagon equipment can be found by killing monsters that are wielding it (or in some cases, their combat level). If the player(s) have 90+ Attack, katagon weapons can be found in the starting room; if they also have 90+ Defense, katagon armour can also be found in the starting room. To smith all pieces of Katagon, you need at least 79 Smithing. If creating from scratch, you will also need 70 Mining to mine the ore.
