The Proto Deathmask, also known as Proto Phase in the GBA release, is an enemy exclusive to the Game Boy Advance and Complete Collection versions of Final Fantasy IV. There are some few differences compared to the Deathmask: It never casts Reflect on the party, uses Heal instead of Curaga, which ignores its own Reflect, and casts Death.
