Sonia Iris Lozada (born October 5, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois) played the part of narrator of "Christmastime in the Barrio", a local community center play which took a spin on the Charles Dickens' character in a community Christmas Play that George, Angie, and the family and her parents went to see when Vic and his wife Emilina visited L.A. for the holidays in "Meet the Cuban Parents" in Season Two of George Lopez (episode #11). Asides from her "GL" episode appearance, Sonia has also made guest appearances on such shows as NBC-TV's ER, ABC-TV's NYPD Blue and Desperate Housewives
