The world exists in the Omicron Persei system, located within the Perseus constellation 1,000 light years from Earth. Omicron Persei, also known as Atik, Ati, and Al Atik, is a spectroscopic binary star system which has a spectral type B1 giant star and a type B3 dwarf star which orbit each other every 4.5 days. They have at least 12 planets orbiting around them.
