GS Paul Tankersley, previously named RMS Paul Tankersley, was a Star Falcon-class private yacht owned by Honor Harrington, Duchess and Steadholder Harrington. Massing about 50,000 metric tons, it was a civillian version of a military/diplomatic courier vessel used to transport dispatches or relatively small groups of passengers when speed was of the essence. Harrington named it after her murdered colleague and first love, Captain Paul Tankersley. (HH7)
