A Tactical Insertion (commonly abbreviated to TI or Tac Insert) is an equipment that appears in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Call of Duty Online, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Tactical Insertions appear in the form of flares in Modern Warfare 2, Modern Warfare 3 and Ghosts, and of a small beacon in Black Ops, Black Ops II, Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare. They can be placed wherever the player chooses, allowing the player to choose where they will respawn.
