Bendu High Priest, sometimes called Bendu High Priestess depending on who held the rank, was the highest rank that any living member of the Bendu Order could be bestowed with. Derived from the original position of Jedi Bendu High Master, a High Priest or High Priestess was the sole leader of the Bendu Order and the Bendu Council of Priests. They were chosen for life terms upon the death or resignation of his or her predecessor, and once they were officially appointed they served as the leader of the entire order. They were responsible for all training and religious activities within the order, as well as serving as the King or Queen of Kal'Shabbol.
