Biemer) The main objective of the survey was to aid that mainstreaming process which has proven helpful with other “now emerged” technologies. One part of this objective was to develop a set of protocols to measure energy savings attributable to the use of solar cookers in U.S. households. Another part of this objective was to collect basic cooking and demographic data from solar cooker households:
