The USS Appalachia (NCC-52136) was a Federation Steamrunner-class starship that was in service during the late 24th century. In 2373, the Appalachia defended Earth against the second Borg invasion at the Battle of Sector 001. It was also in the Dominion War participating in Operation Return, the Chin'toka Advance, and the Advance on Cardassia.
