The Prakesh was a Cardassian Galor-class cruiser that was in service with the Cardassian military during the mid-to-late 24th century. From 2369 to 2372, this ship was commanded by Gul Dukat of the Second Order, following the loss of his post aboard Terok Nor and as Prefect of Bajor. (DS9: "Emissary", et al.) The Prakesh and two other cruisers greeted Benjamin and Jake Sisko with a fireworks display, when the Siskos arrived at Cardassia in a Bajoran lightship later that year. (DS9: "Explorers")
