AV-32 Aegis MBT was a tank used by the Sorian Army. Equipped with heavy armor and a gun optimized for range and accuracy, the Aegis was designed to defend positions against enemy armor. Due to its heavy armor's lack of gaps it was a welcome sight for the beleaguered AT-TE crews during the Clone Wars, and its accurate, long range cannon gave the Rebels a vehicle capable of taking on AT-ATs.(expand and explain)
