Jōshō Hakuya (上昇白夜 Hakuya Joushou, lit: Rising Twilight Sun) is a talented prospect of the Shinō Academy and is a member of the Hakuya Clan. Loud and boastful; Jōshō is out for his own motives and isn't willing to associate himself with the "commoners" of the academy. He holds a prominent rivalry with Tōga Kobayakawa, though it is mainly one-sided form himself.
