Homer Loves Flanders is the sixteenth Episode of The Simpsons fifth season. In the Episode, Ned Flanders invites Homer to a Football Game and the two become good Friends. The Episode is written by David Richardson, based on the Story Idea by Conan O'Brien and directed by Wesley Archer. It also won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program (for programming Less Than One Hour) along with Homer Goes to College and Madeline in New York.
