The SS Scott Fitzgerald was the mother ship to an "11th-generation" A.I. computer named Gordon. According to Holly, the computer of Red Dwarf, Gordon's intellect is simply "awesome" and is currently winning in a game of postal chess with Holly after successfully moving his pawn to king 4.
