The Third Great European War was an armed conflict from 1913 to 1919 that was fought in Europe and in the colonies of European nations in northern Africa. The two fighting sides were the Great Alliance, led by Germany; and the Paris Entente, led by France. It is sometimes known as the European Theater of the First Great War.
