The SDPW/Particle Blade, most commonly known as the Particle Blade or the Saulosian Energy Sword, was a powerful and lethal close quarter one-handed melee weapon used by the Saulosian Directorate and their member races. Originally designed for ceremonial use by High-Ranking Officials, they were occasionally used for duels of pride and for the settlement of conflicts. At first, the blades used to be melee weapons, made of durable materials which were reported to resist a high amount of force. The full potential of the weapon was soon realized with the advent of their Particle Technology. After much trial and error, Saulosian Technicians were able to include Particle Technology onto the durable weapons, thus, creating the SDPW/Particle Blade.
