Voxzaco was a Vampyrum Spectrum, a High Priest in the service of Cama Zotz. He dropped the human's explosive disc on the pyramid, in an attempt to perform the mass sacrifice. In Firewing, Cama Zotz mentions that Voxzaco will have a place in his stomach upon his death, as punishment for his failure. Cama Zotz would have rewarded Voxzaco because of the thousands he sacrificed, but Voxzaco dropped the disc after the total eclipse when the sacrifices no longer counted, and having failed, would be punished for that faliure.
