Scientists are currently finding ways to stop the decline but to no success only to loose their touch and fall into decline themselves. Currently there is no way to stop a decline, unless you manage to make the right decisions and do everything right. Then you can totally avoid decline, but only if your one of those everyman those guys were talking about. Damn those guys can do everything.
