Roger Ashton-Griffths is a British actor that been cast as Lord Mace Tyrell, debuting in Season 4. He graduated from Lancaster University (BMus) and the University of East London (MA Fine Art), and began his career as a singer with English National Opera at the London Coliseum. He has also worked extensively in television, including Margaret and The Tudors. On his character, Mace Tyrell, Ashton Griffiths says: "Well, Mace is described variably by others as an oaf; the Lord of Oaf. However, in my view he's rather a wise old cookie, and is just bumbling along."
