The ore is destroyed immediately if dropped, so a player cannot duplicate the ore with the drop trick. It can be smelted into a lunar bar through the Smithing skill and then made into a lunar helm. Other than that, the ore has no other use. It has the same colour as a silver ore and runite ore put together.
