The 2004 Batmobile was designed by Dave Martis and takes its styling cues from a larger toy Batmobile from the Action Figure group. Dave took liberties with the design, lengthening it and adding the double bubble canopies to the 1/64th scale model. The purple paint was meant to add a bit of color.
