Stephen Fletcher appeared in Coronation Street in October 2014 as Dr Robinson, who diagnosed Steve McDonald with depression. Born in Liverpool, he began acting as a teenager in a local company and then gained a place at the Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts. A couple of years after graduating, he moved to London where he worked for five years and then back to his home city in 2008 working mainly in theatre there. In 2012 he set up his own company, "Life in Theatre Productions", and has so far staged several plays including A Life in the Theatre, The Last Five Years and Mam, I’m ‘Ere!
