The market square of Emelan's capital Summersea is situated in the center of the city. Market is held there regularly and people from the surroundings swarm into the city to buy and sell goods. Winding Circle Temple has its own booth there which is tended by the residents of Discipline cottage—Dedicates Lark and Rosethorn and their charges—once a month and most probably by other dedicates the remaining time. All sorts of things are traded at the market, among them used books, herbs, different goods made of copper, implements for working thread, e. g. drop spindles, and sweets.
